This is a versatile Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® LE microcontroller module, designed to offer comprehensive Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) functionality. Its I/O pins are extended to the pin headers on both sides of the board for simple connections.

The ESP32-S3 features a dual-core XTensa LX7 processor running at speeds of up to 240 MHz. Alongside 512 KB of internal SRAM, it supports 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE), providing enhanced long-range capabilities.

The ESP32 S3 N16R8 DevKitC-1 includes 45 programmable GPIOs and supports a wide variety of peripherals. Additionally, the ESP32-S3 supports larger, high-speed Octal SPI flash and PSRAM with flexible data and instruction cache.

An RGB WS2812 LED with individually addressable Red, Green, and Blue lights is connected to IO38. The board has two USB Type C ports—one for powering, flashing firmware, and communication via the onboard USB-to-UART bridge.

The ESP32-S3’s USB OTG interface, compliant with USB 1.1 standards, is connected to the second USB port.
